there is nothing in sugar but sugar.
You do realize that many many foods contain MSG naturally?

EDIT: ckngbbbls stands for cookingbubbles. It combines my occupation(cooking) with what my husband used to call me(Bubbles). Unfortunately the regular written out version was already taken(?) so I had to be inventive..LOL

EDIT: no sugar does not contain MSG, which is a natural occurring non essential amino acid.

the link is interesting.

Your body manufactures msg naturally. Most foods have msg in them naturally.
Here, worry some more. These also contain forms of msg.... hydrolyzed vegetable proteins, autolyzed yeast, hydrolyzed yeast, yeast extract, soy extracts, and protein isolate. Boo!

cknngbbl (what the heck does that stand for??!!! :)) is right..... sugar = sugar. You will have to look on labels for ADDED MSG as a flavor enhancer and/or preservative. But sugar.....yep, you can have it.
