Question: Question about Applebees restaurant menu item please!!?
Ok, i am going there soon and i want to order their appetizer sampler..and it comes with a big thing of artichoke dip. Which appetizer am i supposed to dip into the artichoke dip????
the sample platter comes with mazerala stix, hot wings, crunchy corn chips, celery, miniature tacos. But it also includes marinara sauce, blue cheese sause, salsa.

I don't want to dip the wrong thing into the artichoke dip, or people will laugh at me.

Answers:

If someone laughs at you, they are the wrong ones. Nobody should ever make a person they are with feel uncomfortable. You can dip anything you want into that artichoke dip. It is very thick, hot, and gooey. They will, I think, serve you some tortilla chips with it, but I think they break too easily in the dip! You can scoop a little onto your own appetizer plate (that is the 'cooth' thing to do anyway - select the things you want, and put them on the little plate they give you instead of eating out of the communal dish - although everybody does it) and use your own fork to put it on the chip. If you are dipping a mozzarella stick into it (that's a lot of gooey!) just dip away. Celery will be perfect. You have fun and good for you for wanting to have good manners. You are awesome!

I just went there with a friend last night and she ordered the sampler--she dipped most of what was on the platter into the dip. I guess it's personal preference. The dip is really yummy and you don't even have to like artichokes to enjoy it.

I think they probably want you to dip the corn chips- but you can dip whatever you want. You paid for it after all.
