How do you eat amaranth? Plain? Cooked in broth? With butter? How?!

Question: How do you eat amaranth? Plain? Cooked in broth? With butter? How?
Please note that I'm not looking for answers of "with your mouth," "with a spoon" or anything idiotic like that.

I just cooked up some amaranth and to my surprise it's more of a porridge/oatmeal grain than a rice/quinoa grain.

Answers:

Amaranth is tricky because it gets kind of sticky when you cook it too much.

Here are some ideas to get you started.

And I've always liked Crescent Dragonwagon's advice: http://bit.ly/hJqaaA She suggests mixing it with more familiar grains to start with.
