Is a rump roast similar to a sirloin tip or chuck beef roast?!

Question: Is a rump roast similar to a sirloin tip or chuck beef roast?
Asked my husband to go to the store to get a sirloin tip or chuck beef roast and he comes home with a rump roast. If my recipe calls for the others will this effect it much? I just don't want to eat a meat that is too tough. This meat is supposed to be seared and then place in the oven for about 40 mins.

it won't taste much different. It will be slightly tougher. Don't give him too hard of a time it'll still taste good. haha

Toughness is caused more by incorrect slicing rather than cut of beef. It'll be fine if you slice against the grain. The grain will change as you progress into the roast so be diligent.
