Does anybody know what this type of grill is called and what company makes them?!

Question: Does anybody know what this type of grill is called and what company makes them?
I am looking into starting a stir-fry restaurant. I would like to purchase a piece of equipment like the one in this picture. Does anybody know anything like the type of "grill?" this is, companies who may make them, how much they cost, etc?

You need to search the restaurant equipment web sites. Here is a link:

Find commercial equipment companies and suppliers in your own state or area.
Keep a copy of the site you put on Answer.com with your question to show. Eventually you will get to the right place by referrals.

Already answered this identical question but nice to see you sorted out the link ^^

Anyway, wow, that is a big griddle. You will probably find that it has been constructed out of several griddle components and made bespoke to your premises. Best advice i can give is ring up a local catering company that are specialists in equipment and bespoke kitchens and show them the picture. I happen to know of a very knowledgeable company that might be able to help you: Give them a ring or email them the picture. Ask for a man called John if you call, he is the one that knows about the big stuff like that. http://buzzcateringsupplies.com or 01279 876500

There are thousands of different types of grills out there. Most can be customed made for your own restaurant or home.

I would email this picture to some restaurant applicance companies to see if they can help you out.
