Pam original for baking?!


Question: Pam original for baking?
I was wondering if I can use Pam Original for baking.
I ran out og Pam Baking but i'm really in a hurry. Can I use Pam Original for baking as well?

You can use either....however...in my experience neither really work that well in baking...the cake sticks to the pan...

I always use Crisco and flour...never had a cake stick to the pan yet...

I would use it to spray coat baking pans, but not to take the place of oil in a cake.
I might spray the top of a cookie then dip the cookie dough in a topping of sugar or ground nuts before baking, just to hold the topping.



Spray then dust with flour. You can do this much cheaper than pam with baking.

Even use the store brand.

Better yet use parchment paper.



sure -- you'll have to take the extra step of flouring your pan if the recipe calls for it --

you could also use cooking oil (put some on a paper towel & rub all over the pan)



I use it all the time - made some blueberry muffins with it about five hours ago.
