Question: What Is This Weird Item?

I bought this from a thrift store. It was in the kitchen section, It was in a kitchen utensil bin. I have no idea what it is.... I have asked over 100 people and nobody knows what it is. Someone tell me what it is please. Give websites talking about this item if possible. Thanks in advance for the help.

Answers:

Cookie scooper. Used for chocolate chip type drop cookies. Just scoop some batter up and drop it on the cookie sheet.

I think rogerrab... is right. Next time you go to a restaurant that has a real chef, not a cook (no offense to cooks out there!), take it with you and ask him or her! And then let us know what it is. (Don't you love thrift stores....if you had gone LOOKING for one of those things at #@@^Mart, you would have never found it!) :)

looks like it may be to slice something like butter pats or fudge which require the scraping action on each slice
