Question: Can you put vanilla extract directly in yogurt?
I want to make my plain yogurt vanilla flavored, can I do that by putting vanilla extract in the yogurt or water to make vanilla flavored water?

thanks

Yes you can put it in. Probably 1/2 teaspoon would be good. I think a spoon of jelly would be really tasty.

how ironic.. im eating yogurt right now that way...
I like plain yogurt cause I can control what I add to it..
Im eating yogurt with 2 drops of vanilla.. (too much makes it taste metalic and bitter)
and I added stivia powder to mine.. (of couse if you dont have a sugar problem, add honey or sugar or fruit preserves are nice also)

sometimes I add vanilla, stivia and add a bit of granola cereal to it for crunch... mmmmm!

Yes, but you'll only need a couple of drops of it on a single serving of yogurt. Use a medicine dropper to measure it out.

Why couldn't you?

But keep this in mind. Vanilla is bitter when alone. You need something to sweeten it up as well.

Yes, but vanillla is bitter on it's own so add a little sugar
