White rice and regular pasta are probably both the same, as are whole wheat pasta and brown rice. Just a guess.

Brown rice, whole wheat pasta and whole wheat bread are all much better than their white counterparts. With the white stuff, all of the good things have been stripped and then what is left has been artificially colored and has had some of the nutrients artificially replaced.

All we buy is all natural whole wheat pasta, all natural whole wheat bread, and brown rice.

definatly pasta. it has so many vitamins (ribolfalin, niactin, otherwise known as the vitamin "B"s,) it has vitamin A, even C i think, it has protein, 14 grams (in mine at least), it has iron and gooood carbs.
rice has maybe half the nutrients for a bigger portion size.

take whole wehat its your best bet:)

They both have some amount of nutrition in them, but if you choose whole grain pasta or rice, you'll be better off. Whole wheat pasta works for me as a diabetic, just not very much of it, and white pasta is ok, but white rice is terrible for my glucose so as much as I like it, I don't eat it.

As long as it is Whole wheat. either will do. It is the white pasta that is bad for you. Most rice is served plain, so that cuts down on the calories.

About the same
