biscuit always mmm

Regular pie crust. I'd have never considered biscuit. I guess that would make it like strawberry short cake...ok, I just never thought of it.

Oh! Wait! UK...when you say biscuit you mean what I call a cookie. That would be yummy, like vanilla wafer or graham cracker or sugar cookie. Yeah, I'd like that a lot. Or even phyllo dough.

Either woud be nice, but I prefer a sponge base- you can buy these ready made or make your own by baking your usual sponge cake recipe in a flan case. Nice and light, and you can add lemon zest to increase the joy!

The answer is in the name Pie?
A blind baked pie crust as your not making a cheese cake are you besides which it holds the lemon filling better!

A pastry base is better because it has the nice fancier look on a lemon meringue pie

Pastry - definitely.

I second biscuit

crushed digestive biscuits and melted butter.

I like biscuit.

Sprinkle a bit of Lemon Zest on top!

I like graham cracker crust...biscuit sounds awful...

I third biscuit
