Question: Cheesecake recipe calls for 24 ounces of Cream Cheese & I have 2 (250g) pkgs. Is this going to be enough?
Answers:

You'd need 680 grams to make 24 ounces. You'll need to adjust the recipe.

Hint: use Google for metric conversions. Just type in "24 ounces in grams" and you'll get the number.

Those two packages are equivalent to 16 oz....so you CLEARLY need one more package!!

No, you don't have enough. 1 gram = 0.035273962 ounces. So with your 500grams, you have 17.6 ounces.

There's 28.35 grams per ounce. So, each 250 g package is 8.9 ounces and you'll need a third one to have 24 ounces (actually 26.5 ounces).

According to my calculations you need one more 250g package, then you will have the correct amount
