Have you had this before?!

Question: Have you had this before?
If you look on the back of a can of Frenchs Fried Onions there is a chicken recipe for Frenchs crunchy onion chicken.

Have you ever had it before and what can I pair with it that would go well with a nice green salad and cream cheese stuffed mushrooms

Answers:

I've had it long ago.. seems like it was pretty good, actually. I think your menu sounds wonderful.

I have had it, and make it once a month for my family. we don't like it as prepared per their directions, so I altered it a little. I use chicken cutlets, dip them in an egg beaten with 2 tbsp prepared ranch dressing, then bread them in the crushed onions and sprinkle with salt and pepper. I put these on an oiled cookie sheet and bake at 450 degrees for 11-14 minutes, flipping halfway through. make sure your oven is well preheated or the onions get soggy (ew). we serve it with mashed or baked potatoes, salad or corn on the cob (sometimes green beans), and some sort of fruit. if serving with a salad, use crisp greens as they pair better with the chicken. I like arugula mixed with baby spinach and watercress, hubby prefers iceberg or romaine hearts :) the mushrooms sound killer.

have been cooking 12 years, every day!

Yes, its a fantastic recipe actually. Very delicious and very easy. When I made it I also made mac and cheese and a salad. So yes, a nice green salad would go nicely, and I'm sure the mushrooms would as well.

Yes, but personally I hate onions so I didn't really like it, but its good with any salads really or rice...idk all I know is that I had it before...without the onions...
