Is making a garlic, butter marinade weird for chicken?!

Question: Is making a garlic, butter marinade weird for chicken?
Answers:

No , not at all. In fact is sounds delicious.

I wouldn't normally use butter as a marinade but you can

You will get more flavor in the chicken though by using a salt water brine ( saltiness of the sea ) and then add garlic powder to make it very garlicky - Soak the chicken 4 to 24 hours

This will flavor the chicken throughout not just the surface and will also make the chicken more moist when cooked

Once you brine poultry one time you'll never do it any other way again

Butter isn't normally used in a marinade, because the fat in the butter would just coat the chicken, not permeate the meat as a marinade should. A garlic butter sauce sounds delicious, though.

Nope! It sounds scrumptious!
