I need help cutting this recipe down, and a question on sugar?!

Question: I need help cutting this recipe down, and a question on sugar?
Ok so here's a recipe for Cappuccino Brownies. It says that it yields 4 pans of brownies- that's a ton of brownies! I only need one pan. Could someone help me cut it down into only a fourth of what the recipe calls for? Also, I have sweetened chocolate chips instead of unsweetened. Should I cut out the sugar in the recipe? Thanks!

To make one pan -

8 ounces Semisweet Chocolate Chips
1 Tbsp Instant Coffee Granules
? cup Unsalted Butter, softened
? cup White Sugar
2 Eggs
? Tbsp Vanilla Extract
? tsp Ground Cinnamon
? tsp Salt
? cup All-Purpose Flour

There's not a huge difference between sweet and semi-sweet chocolate chips so I wouldn't cut out the sugar entirely. I would just cut the sugar down to 1/3 cup instead of the 1/4 cup. Also, to make one pan, you just need to divide all of your ingredients by 4 (which isn't too hard for you, I hope).

An 8x8 pan isn't all that big. You can't cut out all the sugar, though. Baking is more science than cooking. I think you'll need some of the crystallization.

That would make very, very skinny brownies...... like cookie thick. That is only 1 1/2 times to much for a regular 8x8 pan. Just cook it as is in a 13x8 cake pan.
