Cooking classes in NYC?!


Question: Cooking classes in NYC?
I have no interest in being a chef. But I would like to take cooking classes in NYC area.

Do you all know of a good school for the casual cook?

If you start looking for a cooking school (especially in NYC) you will pay out the ying yang! which I don't think you want to do if you are a casual cook. I would look for individuals or sometimes restaurants offer cooking classes. We have an individual in my area that teaches 4 classes a year and makes it seasonal.
I would actually love to teach classes but, alas, I don't live in NYC.
