Question: Will only eating vegetables and fruits with some chicken for 4 weeks make me lose 10 pounds?
I'm 16 years old 5'4 and 130 pounds. I want to weigh 120 pounds so will me just eating vegetables and fruits with some chicken (no other meat, and it will be skinless and baked) help me lose that 10 pounds or will I have to go longer on my barley any meat diet. I love meat and sugar its in every other thing I eat so cutting tho's out totally make to slim down and how fast?.

the kind of food you eat doesn't matter
all that matters is calories in/calories out

your body naturally burns about 1500 calories a day without you even knowing it, by the beating of your heart and bodily functions

A pound is about 3000 calories out
so you have to do the math
If you can eat 750 calories a day you'll lose 750 calories every day
and you'll lose a pound every 4 days
(and 10 pounds in 40 days)
even more when you factor in the calories you burn through daily exercise

look for foods with a heavy water content, that way you'll get more food with fewer calories

canned veggies are great way to go

Also, drink a lot of water or zero calorie beverages

Diets are just a secondary thing you do to lose weight not a primary.

The only primary way to lose weight is to exercise or stay competently active.

Jump on a treadmill and stop looking for an easy way out.

I'm active and skinny and can eat whatever I want.
