Go with the Gas Oven!
You control the heat always. Best for cooking, stove top (actual oven is electric).
Your gas bill will be low, as you use gas for water heating as well.
My gas man said in comparison to electric, it's more economical.

I am a Chef in Portland Oregon, I would definitely choose gas. You can control the heat better making you food come out better (or worst if you burn it lol). It may cost a tad more compared to electricity, but would definitely pay out in the long run.

i like electric oven.you don't have worry about the pilot light going out,nor the smell of gas.
i have total electric everything.i used to have gas appliances.electric is cleaner air too.more
