Ingredients for a pastry?!

Question: Ingredients for a pastry?
I have an assignment in school to cook a pastry. I know how to make the base of the pastry but I have no idea of what to put inside the pastry.... I can only come up with cheese. :( Any other Ideas?

Answers:

Blend of spinach, artichoke, cream cheese, sour cream, squirt of mayonnaise, parmesan, garlic powder, and a sprinkle of salt. It's normally served as a dip, but it is really nice inside a pastry.

For a measured recipe check out this site -----> blog.flatbreadbaking (DOT COM) /2011/02/hot-spinach-and-artichoke-dip (DOT) html

For a pasatry version, just make sure that your ingredients are at room temperature and use as a filling.

Best Wishes! :o)

Cream cheese, pudding. Do you want it to be savory or sweet? You could use a small amount of pulled pork with a little bbq sauce, or you could use strawberries in a little vanilla pudding...

The thick cream they put inside donuts without the hole. (sorry I do not know what it is called!)

Boiled shrimp and green onion

Jam
