How can I make coated pretzels without them getting moldy?!
I want to coat the pretzels in a white-colored base like white chocolate or the like, and be able to flavor it mint or strawberry. I tried this with a snack mix last week with almond bark and it got moldy in less than 3 days. Can anybody help me out with some ideas? Thanks!!! Need it to have a shelf life of at least a week, not refrigerated.

almond bark doesn't have a long shelf life once melted, I know the mold you speak of :/ I have found that tempering good white chocolate (like Lindt bars) makes a wonderful coating. tempering is very tedious, though, and a single drop of water ruins all that effort. you can google "tempring chocolate" for easy ways to do it, the method I use varies with the humidity.
