How do you make homemade marshmallow creme?!


Question: How do you make homemade marshmallow creme?
I am making rice krispie treats and I want to make marshmellow creme to make them.
How do I do it?? Please Help!

I love rice crispie treats! I'm pretty sure you can just put marshmallows in the microwave, and heat until they are fluffy and big. It takes somewhere around 30 seconds, but you'll have to keep checking on them. Hope I helped!

Homemade Marshmallow Cream
Ingredients

2 cups sugar
1 cup water
2 cups light corn syrup
1 cup egg whites
1/2 cup light corn syrup
4 teaspoons vanilla extract

Or..the original Rice Crispy Treat Recipe

3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 package (10 oz., about 40) regular marshmallows
- OR -
4 cups miniature marshmallows
6 cups Rice Krispies?
1. In large saucepan melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.

2. Add KELLOGG'S RICE KRISPIES cereal. Stir until well coated.

3. Using buttered spatula or wax paper evenly press mixture into 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan coated with cooking spray. Cool. Cut into 2-inch squares. Best if served the same day.


MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS:
In microwave-safe bowl heat butter and marshmallows on HIGH for 3 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes. Stir until smooth. Follow steps 2 and 3 above. Microwave cooking times may vary.
How to make it

Cook sugar, water and 2 cups corn syrup to 240 degrees.
In large bowl beat egg whites and 1/2 cup corn syrup until mixed.
Beat until light and fluffy then slowly add hot syrup while beating.
When well combined beat on high for 3 minutes then add vanilla extract.
