Can i substitute a square cake pan for a casserole gratin dish?!
I am making Chicken Broccoli casserole but Its late and i don't want to run all the way to the store to buy one, can i substitute it with a cake pan? any heat difference or anything?

as long as it's teflon coated, there shouldn't be a difference. but if it isn't, it may impart a metallic flavor in your food. ew :/
