Question: Where to store Cupcakes Overnight !??!?
so im baking red velvet cupcakes on sunday night and then i want to serve them on monday just throughout the day for valentines day. im going to frost them monday morning before i take them to school and yea , so i want to know where to store them over night where they wont harden or anything. i want them to be as fresh and moist as possible. ill give you 10 points as soon as possible !

Answers:

Find a big container for them, and to keep them EXTRA moist, stick a piece of bread inside. I know it sounds silly but I've done it for years for cookies and it helps from drying it out. The next morning the bread will be stale and the cupcakes will be extra moist! Or if you aren't frosting them just stick them in ziploc bags or on plates covered with tinfoil. But don't forget the bread!

Also, no matter what you do, they won't get too hard in one night. It takes a couple of days.

Cupcakes are VERY quick to cook can you not bake them for 15 minutes on monday morning? Because they will harden, even if just a little bit.

If it's impossible to bake them first thing in 15 minutes, then be sure they are cool and wrap them AIRTIGHT.
Air will make them harden.
Get a ziploc bag and squeeze ALL THE AIR out, make it totally airtight.

But try to bake them monday morning.

If you want to store your cupcakes overnight then you can put the cupcakes in the tupperware or somewhere that is not gonna melt. Keep the cupcakes in a safe place so that it will be easier for you to find later on anyway...

if you live close to a store that sells the sheet cake boxes those work excellent for keeping cakes fresh...and makes it alot easier to take places without the worry of them getting all messy......hope this helps you

I would wrap them in the pan using plastic wrap and keep in bottom shelf of the fridge, or in a cool garage if you have a house.

Just leave them on the counter in an airtight container. Putting them in the fridge will only make them go stale. Make sure they are cooled completely before closing the lid on the container.

Refrigerator works great for me :)

i keep mine in the microwave, works perfect!!

personal

in an airtight container
