Adjust your trays in the oven so that a rack in a pan will sit 6"-8" away from the top element and turn it on high to preheat.
Lightly rub the steak with oil and lightly season with salt.
Place the meat under the grill and cook for 5 minutes on the first side and turn and cook for another 3-5 minutes depending on thickness.
For one that is about ?" thick.

i would say 12 minutes on each side than let sit for about 5 minutes

Until it is done.
