What can I use in place of vinegar?!
I am going to attempt to make my mother's "Wacky Cake" recipe. It calls for 1 tbsp white vinegar, I know it may alter the taste but can I use lemon juice as a substitute. (I have no white vinegar at the moment only cider vinegar)

Yes, use the lemon juice. Lemon juice reacts to help the wacky thing rise!

I think that you can use apple cider vinegar in place of white vinegar. You can probably use lemon juice also.
