Question: Do people who worked at places like red robin, olive garden, etc?
do ppl who works at places like:
red robin
olive garden
sweet tomatoes
old spaghetti factory
claim jumpers

all finished or went to culinary school?

In a hotel I worked, there were chefs who went to school and some who did not. The ones who went to culinary school were the ones in charge while the others were basically just helpers. Anyway, I would assume in the places you mentioned it would be the same. There would be some school-experienced sou chefs while some are just hired for low pay and follow directions. You would probably have to start low though before you can actually start cooking something without experience.



The chefs may have but the prep cooks likely have not (though they could have too) The wait staff have not



No, they start as dish washers or bussers and work their way up.
