I was attempting to fry chicken in the frying pan but I need help!?!

Question: I was attempting to fry chicken in the frying pan but I need help!?
The pieces I am trying to fry are too thick and are not cooking thoroughly...so I have transferred them to the oven at 400 degrees. Since the chicken pieces are about 85% cooked through, how long should I bake the chicken for? Thanks!

It would have been nice to know what portions of chicken you were cooking.

With what you have said, I would estimate that after the 10 minutes will be close, but as the oven was probably heating during that time I would think it must be close now.
I would suggest you pierce them with a skewer and gently squeeze to see if the juices run clear.

I would put them in a covered dish for about 10 minutes and then take the cover off and continue cooking for another 10 minutes. That way the skin will stay golden and crisp-up in the last 10.

I continuously turn my chicken pieces while frying to ensure even cooking. Even big pieces like breast and thighs.

5 min. chicken doesn't take long to bake through.
