Restaurant style peanut sauce recipe?!

Question: Restaurant style peanut sauce recipe?
I am trying to find a peanut sauce recipe like the one I had in a Thai restaurant. It is creamy and sweet, I have tried several recipes and none of them taste right. They are too tangy and thin and more often than not they taste like soy sauce. Thai Bamboo is the name of the restaurant and it is in Spokane, Washington. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

My version is a little bit different.

Crunchy peanut butter (about 2 cups I guess, I don't measure)
tbsp or two of fresh minced garlic (more or less based on preference)
1/2 c canola oil to thin out
few shots of hot sauce or buffalo sauce

let simmer for a few minutes and BAM!

IT'S SOOOO SIMPLE AND DELICIOUS! I MAKE IT AT WORK FOR OUR THAI CHICKEN AND SHRIMP STIR FRY WITH JASMINE RICE (I'M A CHEF, BTW)

Thai Peanut Sauce

Ingredients:
?1/4 cup peanut butter
?1/4 cup water
?2 tbsp soy sauce
?2 tbsp lime juice
?2 cloves garlic, minced and crushed
?2 tbsp rice vinegar

Preparation:
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan over low heat (mixture will become easy to
combine as peanut butter melts). Continue stirring over low heat until
ingredients are combined and mixture is smooth and creamy. This recipe is
perfect as it is, but you may want to thin it out a bit with more water,
depending on what you're using it for

Peanut sauce
1/3 cup creamy peanut butter (do not use old-fashioned style or freshly ground)
1/4 cup canned low-salt chicken broth
2 tablespoons canned unsweetened coconut milk
1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon fish sauce (nam pla)
1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce (such as Tabasco)

For peanut sauce: Puree all ingredients in processor until smooth. (Can be prepared 1 day ahead. Cover and refrigerate. Bring to room temperature before using.)
