Avocado orange cupcakes. What do u think?!
I have a bunch of beautifully ripened avocados. I am totally guaced out, and have made tons of savory dishes w them this week... now im working on a coconut avocado ice cream and avocado cupcakes.
I found a recipe for avocado cupckes w orange cream cheese frosting.
the cake recipe goes:
1 ripe avocado smashed
3/4 c buttermilk
3 eggs
1 box lemon cake mix.
then it gives directions for an orange cream cheese frosting..
so do u think i should stick w the orange icing or make a LIME cream cheese frosting?

I think lime is classic to match with avocado, and it will compliment nicely with the lemon cake. I'd almost fear that the lemon and the orange will fight for dominance, especially with the more bitter notes of the avocado.
You can also make great oatmeal cookies with avocado :)
either will work bc you need to pair it with something acidic... lemon lime is classic but id try the orange
