Would this recipe work?!
?6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
?2 cups buttermilk
?3/4 cup flour
?2 tablespoons nonfat dry milk
?1 teaspoon salt
?1/4 teaspoon pepper
?10 tablespoons butter, divided
I have all of that except for dry milk and I only have a little bit of buttermilk left. If I don't use those ingrediants will the chicken still turn out ok? thanks!

Hi TravelBug,
Those are great ingredients. Just remember to "sear" your chicken breast by flouring them first.
Just season your flour with salt and pepper. Don't worry about the dry milk. Substitute them both by adding regular milk. I would also add garlic and onion powder to you mix. It will turn out great with a nice gravy taste and texture. It will turn out fine!
Relax and enjoy!

For the most part, cooking is an inexact science. Work with what you have. I'm sure it will be yummy.
You don't sear something by putting flour on it, searing is cooking the outside of the meat to hold the juices in.
