Hi Eric,
Well, you're off to a great start! Having pesto on hand is going to be delicious.
Here's the recipe I suggest:
1 pound chicken legs
1 can cream of chicken or mushroom
1 of your prepared pesto
1 can of artichoke hearts drained and quartered
1/2 cup sun dried tomatoes, sliced or minced
1/2 cup milk or cream
* 1 teaspoon garlic powder
* salt to taste
* pepper
Place all ingredients in your slow cooker.
I like to add fresh mushrooms to this (optional)
If you're going to be gone all day, cook on low for 8 hours, if not 3 hours on high if long enough.
I serve them with egg noodles, rigatoni pasta or brown rice (healthier choice)
I side of green beans or asparagus is perfect with this.
Enjoy! Best2u,
:)

Dust the chicken with flour, sea salt and pepper.
Brown in olive oil
Place a small amount of the pesto in the crock pot
Place the chicken
Pour remaining pesto over chicken
Add 1/2 C white wine
optional - slice onion into thin rings, and lay over the top. they will cook and add a nice different texture that can be served on the side.
Set it, and forget it (sorry bad pun)

I wouldn't add any cream of chicken or onion soup - the pesto is essentially olive oil, garlic, pine nuts and parmesan.

Serve with whole wheat pasta of your choice - stir, then ladle the sauce (which will break down a bit because the oil in the pesto will separate) over the pasta - toss and add more parmesan.

mangia!

I looooooove to cook!

just take the chicken legs and put peprika, chilli, any spice on there. then take plain yogurt and mix the chicken legs and mix all the spices. then let them rest on the table for atleast and hour. and then you can fry them. it tastes SO GOOD. i swear!! try it!

Hey I see you are interested in preparing good tasting food. I was that way until
a friend of mine inform me to rely more on cooking recipes. Since that time I have been
able to prepare some fantastic meals for my guests.

Throw them in the garbage and drive to KFC. That's a much better plan.
