Well, what is the cheese going to be in or on etc?
Havarti on a cracker, Cheddar & Monterey Jack on tacos and nachos, depends on my mood for queso, American cheese on my omelet, Aloutte with diced tomato on some crostini, etc...
There are sooooooo many different cheeses around the world that it all depends on the taster's taste. Cheddar is a favourite for a lot of people but there are probably a hundred different cheeses to choose from!
I love swiss, it just has a really mild taste and a firm texture. It doesn't get too gooey when melted...which is a plus depending on how you use it.
good quality , pasmesan ,or sharp cracker barrel ,
Gouda is good fooda but cheddar is better.
