What will I get if I mix whipping cream and loads of icing sugar, more than used for cream toppings?!

Question: What will I get if I mix whipping cream and loads of icing sugar, more than used for cream toppings?
I know to create a cream topping for cakes you use like 250ml of whipping cream and 40g of icing sugar.
But I was wondering if I put loads will I get some amazing version of buttercream/whipping cream!?
This is because I want to make a birthday cake and apparently whipping cream dosen't last? Would this new version last?

When making icing you have to have something to whip up....shortening, egg whites, cream cheese, or heavy cream. If you are using only heavy cream, in order to add enough powdered sugar to make the cream last, then it would be too heavy to use as an icing. There would not be enough cream to "whip" up. The icing has to get "air" incorporated into it somehow and if it is too heavy from the sugar this can't happen. With buttercream icing the shortening whips up to hold the air.
How long do you need for the icing to last? If you ice a cake in whipping cream you can keep it refrigerated for several hours and if the weather is not too warm you can have it out on the table for 2 or 3 hours.

yes
