Question: How long should you cool heated food?
Example, if you have heated food and are now cooling the food how long should it be left on Ice.

If you are talking about how long to wait til you can put in the fridge...it doesn't have to be more than a 1/2 hour..

If you put it on ice as soon as it is cooled refrigerate. I think the rule is 2 hours if you are cooling at room temperature.
