If I were you I would disinfect the sink...And not worry so much about it...

To clean the kitchen I would use Tilex or some other cleaner that has sodium hypochorite. That stuff will destroy anything. Just make sure you rinse with water and wipe up afterwards or that stuff WILL destroy everything.
For the sink itself:
Boil two gallons of water.
While the water is boiling, go fill the sink with hot water and bleach, all the way to the top or close to it. Then put on a pair of long dishwashing gloves and reach down and pull the drain. The large amount of bleach in hot water will disinfect everything down the drain.
Then immediately pour the boiling water down the sink. The boiling water will disinfect and cook anything down in the plumbing.
Run the water for ten minutes after that and it should be all clean.
I am an obsessive compulsive germophobe.
If I cleaned it with bleach I would get over it and use my kitchen. That's how you get clogs out of a sink. You can also bleach your plunger every time you use it so you don't have this issue again. Or get 2 one for bathroom use, one for kitchen use.
sick, id be disgusted to. i hate germs. below is a website on how to use bleach correctly to make sure you get it disinfected.
and i'd prob even do my dishes again in case he got it onto other things.

I would just scrub the sink and get over it.
Don't put the food in the sink.
That's what you're supposed to use.. a plunger. Your sink is clean if you used bleach.
