Sounds great maybe add some pilaf and garlic bread.
Most anything you like goes well with Fried Green Tomatoes.
Black-eyed peas, Butter beans, Fried pork Chop, Fried Catfish, Rutabagas, Brussels Sprouts, Salmon, Croquet, Fried Chicken.
Right off hand, i can't think of anything that wouldn't go with Fried Green Tomatoes. The only requirement is that it is something you like. So if tilapia is what floats your boat, go for it.
My only concern is that the tilapia probably came from Red China. i don't trust any foodstuff from red China.

You must have fried catfish, cornbread, and macaroni and cheese. No question. That's just IT. No southerners would have it any other way! At least not anyone I know! Yum.

Yes, that is exactly the type of thing, but I wouldn't gave garlic butter as it would make them soggy.
