Question: WHAT IS MASHING BANANAS?
i have been suffering from loose motions.i checked out some websites and they say mashed banana with salt is good to cure loose motions.please tell me wat is 'mashed ripe banana with salt'.
any other advice will be praised

Answers:

To 'mash' a banana, place overipe banana (and salt if using) onto a flat plate. Using the back of a fork, squash it until it is all mashed into a slushy slop.

An alternative way to tighten up motions is a tablespoon of dry instant coffee powder.

Another solution is to take immodium, until the situation resolves itself.

just eat the whole ripe banana without salting or mashing it. Mashing is to take a fork and make the banana liquidy, but you really don't need to do that.

banana constipates some people, others it does nothing.

If I were you I would have more salad greens with the bananas.

I don't think you need to worry about mashing the banana just make sure you're eating a ripe banana (the peeling should be fairly brown).

Salt is completely unnecesary. It will make it taste nasty and has nothing to do with your loose motions.

That would be a ripe (brown skin) banana seasoned with salt. If you have ever made banana bread use the bananas you would use for the bread and mash it with a fork.

Peel a banana and squash up with a fork and add some salt.

That sounds like an 'old wives tale' to me.

I don't know why a whole banana wouldn't work but you cut in slices then press with a fork til they're smashed
