What is the purpose of the 2 points at the tip of a citrus knife?!
I just searched for an hour, couldn't find anything anywhere.

It's for picking out the seeds with the least defacing, of course!

As far as I know they are to help you start to peel the citrus fruit. They cut into the rind so that you can peel it.
