cupcakes are any cake recipe you like or can make, baked in little cups.
There is nothing special about cup cake recipes as opposed to a regular cake recipe.
You can take any "cupcake" recipe and bake the batter in a regular cake pan.
Or, take any cake recipe and bake the batter in little paper cup cake liners.
Prepare boxed cake mix, then pour into muffin tin instead of cake pan.
