Do i need to add anything to the cheese i put on nachos?!

Question: Do i need to add anything to the cheese i put on nachos?
I don't know if I add anything to it. And what do I set the oven to?

Answers:

You can sprinkle paprika or taco seasoning for added flavor. If you have some black/green olives you would sprinkle that too!
probably 375, it should be a hot oven

but the best tip is to pour a can of spicy diced tomatoes or a spicy jar of salsa and microwave it with Velveeta, warm your nachos THEN pour over the chips...de-lish

Are you adding just grated cheddar cheese or a cheese sauce? You might want to make a spicier cheese sauce for the nachos - it's best with a loose sauce than grated cheese. Your best bet for something simple is to get some salsa and add it to the cheese sauce, you can add some chopped jalapenos to make it hotter, but take it easy on them.. If you want to make a sauce, here's a couple of recipes below. Easiest way is to get some Velveeta and add to it. And then you could add some refried beans and sour cream, which you add afterward. Set the oven to 350 to heat the chips, cook the cheese sauce in a separate pan on the stove and pour over the warmed chips. If you choose to add the extras, then add heated refried beans (cook in a pan with a bit of added water to make it more like bean sauce and top with sour cream.

It depends on what kind of cheese you are using. If it is just basic cheddar, you keep it plan, or add whatever you want.
Example- Salsa, Jalapenos, tomatoes with green chillis

Or you can use diffent flavored cheeses. Like chipolte or pepper jack.

The skyes the limit. Use your imagination.

The best way to do nachos is in the microwave. Place tortilla chips, grated cheddar or Mexican blend cheese and pickled jalapeno slices together on a microwavable plate. Nuke it for 1 minute and you are done! No mess!

The nicest nachos ever have like tomato sauce not actual ketchup but like sauce with bits of tomato in it and jallepinyos have not got a clue how to spell them but there green spicy things and cheese perfect :D

If you are using the "Rico" brand nacho cheese you can add alittle milk or water or even jalapenos juice. And you don't need an oven. You heat it up on the stove on med low. I hope this helps

you can put CHILI or peppers on the cheese and bake at 400.
