What can I make with these ingredients?!

Question: What can I make with these ingredients?
I have no idea what to make.. unlike my mom she comes up with a FULL meal in like.. 5-10 minutes. I'd still be thinking of what to cook!! lol. don't you just love a mother's cooking?:)

We have; Salmon, Chicken, frozen veggies, some frozen fruit, I think she heated up some beef. We have Yucca, spinach, potatoes, asparagus and other basic things you'd have in your house. [maybe].
Sadly we don't have mushrooms:( I sometimes like to make Salmon with Asparagus & mushroom with rice..

but. yeahh. or any other simple ingredients that I can get ?
please include spices to make the different flavors!

I need new simple quick recipes. I have a 5 month old. so sometimes I don't have 30 minutes to be full time in the kitchen =/ So yeahh.

stuck. but since she works late sometimes. I have to make whatever we have.

Can you come up with something? Anything?!

[sorry if it sounds confusing!] :(

thanks.

Poach the salmon in white wine with dill and garlic. Steam the asparagus and serve with lemon butter. Make rice or couscous for a side dish.

Rub soysauce and cilatro over the salmon with some crushed garlic, sprinkle oil over it, and wrap it in foil.
Put it in the oven and bake for 30 minutes.
Meanwhile make some vegetable mash. Cook the potatos, and if your frozen veg is broccoli or cauliflour, cook them too.
Mash the potato and mash the broccoli and caulilfour together. Make a pile of mash with the potato and separately the broccoli- it makes a very pretty pattern and tastes lovely.
Put a pile of spinach on a plate, then add a dollop of the mash on one side and put the salmon on top of the mash.

Saute' your chicken
Add some frozen veggies to it (chinese type if possible, or use broccoli, carrots, snap peas, etc.)
cook them together for a few minutes

stir together 1/4 cup soy sauce, 1 TBSP sugar, and 1/4 cup water

toss in with chicken and veggies and let simmer til veggies and chicken are cooked

serve over rice

Rinse chicken pieces off, place in 9x 13 pan. Drizzle with melted butter and lemon juice, sprinkle salt, pepper and oregano. Cover with foil and cook in oven for one hour at 350 degrees. While it is cooking, peel potatoes and slicing them thinly, place around the chicken. Full meal, Greek style.

Hey I see you are interested in preparing good tasting food. I was that way until
a friend of mine inform me to rely more on cooking recipes. Since that time I have been
able to prepare some fantastic meals for my guests.

Baked Salmon, tastes very good. Baked Chicken, mashed potatoes, fries.

fry the frozen veggies and add thin chuncks of chicken =)

Best Baked Salmon

1 (3- to 4-pound) salmon filet, dressed
Salt and coarsely-ground pepper
6 bacon slices
1 lemon, thinly sliced
1 onion, thinly sliced
1 large tomato, thinly sliced

Preheat oven to 350° F.

Wash salmon filet and pat dry; place onto aluminum foil.

Salt and pepper the cavity of the salmon. Layer bacon slices, lemon slices, onion slices, and tomato slices in the cavity of salmon; wrap in aluminum foil.

Bake 1 to 1 1/2 hours until a meat thermometer registers an internal temperature registers 140 degrees F. or until fish is slightly opaque in thickest part (cut to test). NOTE: During this time the meat continues to cook (meat temperature will rise 5 to 10 degrees after it is removed from the oven) and the juices redistribute.
