How do you Cook T Bone Steak ?!

Question: How do you Cook T Bone Steak ?
Answers:

? Broil – When broiling a T Bone Steak it should be placed on a broiler pan about 2 to 4 inches from the heat source. The steak usually takes about 9 to 16 minutes depending on the size of it. About half way through the steak should be turned once as well.
? Grill – The T Bone Steak should be brushed lightly with oil and put directly on top of the heat source. The steak should be grilled about 10 to 16 minutes. Once again turn the steak once. Also the cook time depends on the thickness of the steak.
? Pan-broil – Once the skillet is hot add a little oil or butter and place the T Bone Steak on the skillet. Cook the steak for approximately 13 to 15 minutes. While cooking flip the steak once.

hope it tastes good :-)

I prefer a Porterhouse to a T-Bone, since you lose the filet with the T-Bone, but I cook them the same way. Let them come to room temperature. Season them with kosher salt, freshly ground black pepper, and granulated garlic, and cook them on a clean, oiled grill on high until rare to medium rare. Depending on the thickness of the steak and the heat of your grill, that's about 2-3 minutes, a quarter turn, then 2-3 minutes more; flip over for 2 minutes, a quarter turn for 2 more minutes. Let rest covered at LEAST five minutes. I actually like black and blue steak or char rare, but the BF won't eat it that way, so this is my compromise.

Second option: pan fried. Heat a dry, well seasoned black (cast iron) skillet over medium heat for at least 10 minutes. Add 2 tablespoons each of olive oil and butter; put in the steak when it's melted, not brown. Cook for 1 - 2 minutes until seared; flip and sear the other side. Flip once or twice to cook a total of 5 - 7 minutes for medium rare; let rest covered for at least 5 minutes. You can make a pan sauce of the drippings.

Grill or frypan. Two minutes each side, then you can decide if it needs longer by making a little cut to see how well its cooked through. Try a little salt or seasoning sprinkled on top, too.

In the broiler of my oven. Watch it to make sure it doesn't cook too fast, or too long.
