During a baby shower ppl are busy mingling and talking, so it's normally more comfortable for your guests if you provide finger foods. And usually 'neat' finger foods since we (women) don't usually like to walk around licking our fingers or picking and sucking our teeth like men do. lol
Ideas you might like to consider:
Finger sandwiches
Hot Artichoke and Jalapeno Spread served with water wafers
Spinach Dip with assorted crackers (ah, the spinach may be a tooth picker, though!)
Fresh fruit and cheese plate ( like Havarti, Stilton, Smoked Gouda, Edam )
Pizza Pinwheels
Make a big old sub sandwich with deli meats and cheeses in it, cut it into 1 1/2 inch slices for easy handling.
