I'm looking for a cheap and easy meal to cook for my parents?!

Question: I'm looking for a cheap and easy meal to cook for my parents?
I'm a college student and I don't have much cooking experience, but I can follow directions pretty well. I go home for break in a few weeks and I kinda wanna cook them a nice but cheap dinner. Kind a nice gesture ya know? Any suggestions?
