how to get more dietary fat when you are pescatarian?!

Question: How to get more dietary fat when you are pescatarian?
I'm kind of Pescatarian (meaning I only occasionally eat fish and no other meat) And I can never seem to get enough fat in my diet. I eat lots of veg, I also eat pasta, rice, bread, potatoes, eggs etc etc but never see to be able to put on any weight , if anything I just keep losing it. My job is very physical so I get excercise there and do other excercises too. I hardly eat "junk food" and sweets etc. How can I start to put on just a bit more weight?

Answers:

Beans and low fat dairy-not for fat but because they are calorically dense. Nuts, nut butter, seeds, avocados, olive oil and spreads made with it all provide good fats.
Also, when you do eat fish, choose fatty fish like salmon, tuna or trout.

Smear cream cheese on a bagel. With Lox?
Drink whole milk. Strauss Creamery has great stuff, and organic too.
Have a few cheese enchiladas. Over do your portion by one extra enchilada.
I used to smash avocado and cream cheese together in a bowl. Mix well and eat with chips. Mom's recipe.

eat fruits that have oils, avacodos and nuts. You would be suprised how much fat is in sunflowerseeds and other nuts. Read the package of sunflower seeds and the calories they contain.

Eat more oily types of fish, like mackerel or fatty salmon. Lobster if you eat shellfish. A nice Bernais or Bechamel sauce is good on fish, and will add some more fat.

Cook with healthy oils, eat nuts, avocado, mayonnaise.
