When cooking opossum, do you eat the tail or throw it out?!
My cousins are good old boys, and they trapped a opossum. They keep saying that they're going to fry the tail, but I understood that the tail was too leathery to eat.

Take it off when you skin and gut it.
Make sure it is safe to eat. Here they are riddled with rabies and or TB
You are suppose to eat it. Deep fry it, that is the best way to do it. Enjoy!
You can make opossum tartar then you won't waste anything.
if they are eating opossum they may be a little backwards
Fried very crispy it is good but I put them in soup.
