Making Steak Diane Sauce?!

Question: Making Steak Diane Sauce?
I'm thinking of making steak diane next Thursday for a visitor and I'm looking at the Gordon Ramsay recipe. http://www.channel4.com/4food/recipes/chefs/gordon-ramsay/steak-diane-recipe

I have one problem, as someone who doesn't drink I don't keep spirits in my house. A little wine for cooking and for guests but no spirits and to be honest I don't want to buy brandy just for one recipe. So my question is this, can you effectively make a steak diane sauce without spirits or is it a necessity in this case.

Many thanks

You really should add brandy. Buy a Miniature.

You can leave it out but it won't be a Diane sauce
