16 ounces.= 1 pound. So if each stalk weighs 1/2 oz. then 32 stalks = 1 pound .If 1 pound costs $1.60 then you divide 16 ( # of ounces in 1 pound) by $1.60(cost per pound) and the answer = .10 cents for 1 ounce /or/ 2 (1/2 ounce each) stalks = .10 cents /or/ .5 cents for each stalk .But also remember; Not all stalks weigh the same ;)
