Asparagus salad recipe?!


Question: Asparagus salad recipe?
Anyone have a really good recipe? I want it kind of spicy, but all the ones I googled for spicy asparagus salad were Asian, and that's not what I'm looking for. Thanks. (:

Spicy Asparagus Salad

1/4 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons white wine
2 tablespoons TABASCO? brand Green Jalape?o Pepper Sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 bunches asparagus, cut into 2-inch pieces
1 large leek, sliced
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
1 yellow, orange or red bell pepper, cut into thin strips
2 tablespoons shaved Parmesan or Pecorino cheese

Preheat oven to 425oF.

Combine olive oil, white wine, TABASCO? Green Sauce and salt in cup.

Combine asparagus, leek, mushrooms, bell pepper, and 1/2 TABASCO? Green Sauce mixture in large roasting pan; toss to mix well.

Roast vegetables 20 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally. Remove from oven; toss with remaining TABASCO? mixture.

Makes 6 servings.

Spicy Asparagus Spears

2 tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/2 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
Crushed red pepper flakes to taste
1-3/4 pounds fresh asparagus, trimmed

In a large skillet, melt butter. Stir in the onion powder, seasoned salt, Cajun seasoning and red pepper flakes. Add asparagus spears, stir gently to coat. Cover and cook 5-7 minutes or until crisp-tender, stirring occasionally. Yield: 6 servings.
