Real unsalted butter, the brand is immaterial as long as it is real butter.

Use the salted butter in all foods!! the small amount of salt gives just the burst of flavor you need. I buy my butter at either Sams or Costco as it is in 3 and 4 pounds and costs much less than going to grocery store. Freeze any butter not used at this time. Just set it on cabinet to defrost for 2 hours before use later.

I would use regular low or no salt butter.
