How long would you cook jiffy corn muffin mix if you used a cake pan?!

until a tooth pick inserted comes out clean....and the edges are a toasty light brown......
I bake mine in a cake pan also...Just follow the time that is on the box...but about 5 minutes before it is to be done..check it with a tooth pick..if it comes out clean then it is done...if not keep checking every 5 to 7 minutes..You don't want to over cook it...

I would never use a cake pan!! I only use hot cast iron for cornbread. I like the crispy edges!
